Sidekick Strategies offers specialized training to quickly elevate your content team into inbound marketing experts. Our Content Manager and Strategist Training programs, crafted by seasoned professionals, aim to boost your team's strategic skills, enhance content ROI, and promote ongoing learning, leading to superior content performance and business outcomes.
Content Training Is a Win-Win Investment
With our content training programs, you’re not only investing in long-term revenue results, you’re also demonstrating that you care about and invest in your people.
Improve Inbound Content ROI
Even if your content specialist possesses oodles of raw talent, it can still often take years for them to develop the sophisticated, strategic skill sets and perspectives that make them as profitable, polished, and efficient as you need them to be. Our content trainers have decades of collective experience, which will shorten their learning curve exponentially, making them more effective faster.
Cultivate + Retain Your People
Did you know that employee retention rates are 34% higher at companies that offer employee development opportunities like professional skills training? That means when you invest in training for your content hires, you’ll not only improve your results from inbound, but you’ll also increase employee satisfaction, decrease employee churn, and reduce costs associated with turnover.
Who Is Content Training for?
In-house Content Specialists
It doesn’t matter what your title is — content manager, content writer, content strategist, content specialist — if you’re the owner of your company’s content (or you’ve hired one), we’ve got your back with the knowledge and know-how you need.
Agency Content Pros
Content at a HubSpot agency ain’t easy! From managing freelance writers and developing client content strategies, to creating content for your agency and cultivating agency content talent, we’ve got the inbound agency experience you need.
The Sidekick Approach to Content Training
Discovery + Strategy
First, your content trainer will meet with you to discuss your needs. This will include learning about your team and their experience levels, your current inbound strategy, content knowledge gaps and inbound performance challenges, short- and long-term business objectives, short- and long-term content personnel goals, and more.
Curriculum Development
Next, we’ll develop your recommended content training curriculum, broken down by module, and refine it based on your feedback. We’ll share the what, why, and how for each training module, where we see needs or opportunities for bonus working sessions for practical application, and estimated timelines for program completion.
Training Program
Finally, we launch your training program. While no two programs are the same, often you’ll meet with our trainer at least once a week for a training session – often an additional working session is recommended for practice. You’ll also have asynchronous access via email and Slack for real-time support and work product feedback.
Recordings + Resources
As part of your training program, you’ll have lifetime access to video recordings and transcripts of every training session. Additionally, virtually all training programs include custom resources in the form of worksheets, checklists, summaries, presentations, and templates that make immediate application a cinch.
Ongoing Support
Once your content training program is completed, we’re happy to work with you on an as-needed basis for any ongoing support you may need. From providing feedback on work product from your content team as they continue to practice what they’ve learned, to answering lingering questions, we’re here for you and your people!
Meet Your Content Management Professor
Hi, I’m Liz Moorehead!
I’m a passionate inbound content management professional, speaker, and educator. Over the past 10 years, in both HubSpot partner agency and in-house settings, I’ve built inbound content programs and complex content processes for industries and disciplines including healthcare, medical technology, defense contracting, financial services, B2B SaaS, executive recruiting, DEIA, sales and marketing, commercial real estate, manufacturing, home services, and many more.
I’ve been labeled a “content therapist” by those who know me. This is due to my obsession with challenging thought leaders to be their most authentic selves, and zeroing in on the often overlooked human and relationship elements that determine the success of any in-house content program. Now, I would be incredibly honored to put my expertise to work for you.
