Free 45-Minute Webinar

Friday, May 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT12:00 PM - 12:45 PM EDTWebinar

Your AI conversations disappear the second you close the tab. A second brain fixes that. In 45 minutes, see exactly how to build one in Obsidian, hand it to Claude Code, and turn every podcast, article, and meeting you've ever sat through into knowledge your AI can actually use.

About This Event

What to Expect

Most humans treat AI like a really fast intern with amnesia. Every conversation starts from zero. Every research thread evaporates when the chat ends. The fix isn't a better prompt or a longer context window. It's a second brain, a persistent and queryable knowledge system that compounds over time and that your AI can read on your behalf.

This webinar walks through the exact second-brain pattern George uses every day to run Sidekick Strategies. We'll cover the four-folder architecture (raw, wiki, intake, journal) that turns an Obsidian vault into a Karpathy-style LLM Wiki, the capture-curate-activate loop that keeps it healthy without becoming a maintenance job, and the Claude Code rituals that make your AI feel like a tireless colleague who actually remembers everything. You'll leave with a starter template, the slash commands that run the system, and a clear plan for week one.

What You'll Learn

Key Takeaways

  • Why ephemeral AI conversations cap your output, and the second-brain shift that fixes it for good
  • The four-folder architecture (raw, wiki, intake, journal) that turns Obsidian into a real LLM-ready knowledge graph
  • A live capture-curate-activate loop: how a podcast transcript today becomes a linked wiki page tomorrow, and a draft email next week
  • The Claude Code slash commands and CLAUDE.md pattern that let your AI read your second brain without re-explaining context every session
  • A 7-day setup plan for week one so you walk out building, not bookmarking

Why AI Conversations Don't Compound

The ephemeral-conversation problem in plain language, why prompt libraries and longer context windows don't actually fix it, and what changes the moment you give your AI a place to remember.

0:05 - 0:13

The Four-Folder Architecture

raw, wiki, intake, journal. What each folder does, why each is non-negotiable, and how the four pieces turn an Obsidian vault into a Karpathy-style LLM Wiki your AI can actually read.

0:13 - 0:23

Live Walkthrough: Capture, Curate, Activate

Drop a YouTube transcript into raw. Watch it become linked entity pages in wiki. Then query the graph from Claude Code and generate a draft article without re-explaining anything.

0:23 - 0:30

Your First Week

Setup checklist, the daily rituals that keep the system healthy, the slash commands that run the workflow, and the one mistake that kills most second-brain attempts before week two.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to use Obsidian?+
No. The vault is plain markdown. Obsidian's the recommended viewer because the graph view is unbeatable, but you can run the same setup in VS Code, vim, or any markdown editor. We'll demo in Obsidian.
Will this work with ChatGPT, or do I need Claude Code specifically?+
The architecture works with any LLM. Some of the slash-command rituals shown are Claude Code specific because that's what George uses, but we'll explain how to translate the same patterns to ChatGPT, Cursor, or any agent that can read files.
I've got notes in Notion, Apple Notes, Google Docs, and 47 browser tabs. Can I migrate?+
Yes. We'll cover quick-import strategies for each at the end. The system rewards you for adding even one new note to it. It doesn't punish you for the chaos behind you.
Is this for marketers or for everyone?+
Anyone capturing knowledge from podcasts, articles, client calls, books, or YouTube videos benefits. Marketers, consultants, founders, researchers; the pattern is universal.
